There are many kinds of tea such as oolong tea, green tea, red tea, etc. I usually drink cold barley tea in summer and hot green tea in winter. However, I don't like red tea because a taste of red tea isn't good for me. Speaking of red tea, I watched a certain TV program the other day. The topic of the program was red tea. I know a little about Sado. Sado is not just drinking tea. There are many manner. In Sado, one cup of tea is drunk in order by several persons and you have to express an opinion about a teacup. Man and woman discrimination has been a problem also in Japan. What is the real intention of man and woman discrimination? Probably, a social status also deserves it. But I think that it is a mental field. For example, In Japan, it became possible for a woman to take the high post. However, when a woman takes the high post, a surrounding male shows a very unpleasant reaction because they think "a woman cannot manage big work." They regard it as cunning. That is, socially, even if a woman attaches to a high position, a male is not permitted her in respect of being mental. But I went to China when I was sixty years old. Then, I went to Peking and Tianjin as a school trip. When I went to there, I exchanged with Chinese students. But I couldn't get through my English. Because I think Japanese English is differnt from Chinese English. And I have little vocabluary for English. So my first visiting in China is reluctant travel. But I went to "The Great Wall"and "Tiananmen Square". I bought sweet roasted chestnuts in Tianjin. So I like China. Do you like Japan? By the way, I will talk about my hobby. My hobby is singing to music. But I don't good singer. But when I sing some songs, I remove my stress. So I hum some songs to myself every day. I like all genre musics. | Dear everyone, How do you do? I am Prof. Chizuko Suzuki at Nagasaki Junshin Catholic University, Japan. I am very much pleased to greet you all through this Mailing List between Shih Hsin University and Junshin University. It is wonderful that Prof. Yi-ju Chen from Shih Hsin Univ. and Prof. Yoko Watanabe and myself from Junshin Univ. agreed to start an e-mail project having this kind of space, system or opportunity for the students in Asian countries, who are studying English language as their second language so that they can communicate with each other rather freely in ENGLISH beyond the time or space limitation. Why don't you introduce yourself including one or two things interesting, such as the most unforgettable cross-cultural experiences or questions about the custom of the partners'culture? -> Yi-ju, thanks for your suggestion!
