「英語学習者のための 実践で役立つスキルセミナー①」

長崎純心大学 国際交流・英語文化センターでは毎年、県内の皆さんを対象として英語を学ぶセミナーを行っています。
趣味で、仕事で、ボランティアで、などさまざまな場面で英語を使いたい、英語に関心がある、など21名がご参加くださいました。
セミナーの中では講師の説明も参加者の皆さん同士のワークもほとんどが英語で行われます。
自己紹介に始まり、セミナー後半では小グループに分かれて英語の会話ゲーム形式が取られ、活発な会話が飛び交っていました。

Seminar on Practical Skills for English Learners (1)
Saturday, May 31, 2025 9:30-12:40 at Seminar Room, Center for Regional Collaboration, Nagasaki Junshin Catholic University
Every year, the Center for International Exchange and English Language and Culture at Nagasaki Junshin Catholic University holds public seminars on English language learning that are open to anyone interested. The first seminar this year was held on Saturday, May 31st. Twenty-one participants who want to use English in various situations such as for hobbies, work, or volunteering and who are interested in English attended the seminar.
During the seminar, most of the lecturer’s explanations and the participants’ work was conducted in English. Starting with self-introductions, participants were divided into small groups and played an English conversation game in the latter half of the seminar. The atmosphere was lively and everyone seemed to enjoy themselves.
Thank you very much to those who participated.
The participants’ comments included:
- “I was able to have a lot of conversations because of the necessity of speaking in English.”
- “I had to use my listening, reading, speaking, and writing skills a lot overall, so it was good.”
- “I had to keep up with the speed of the class.”
This seminar is scheduled to be held three more times this year. Each time, a different instructor will present a different approach. Single sessions are also available. Everyone is welcome to attend!
